This week it'll be Sunday Asphalt

I have to do a 7am trainer ride on Saturdy - can't wait. So I'll be looking for a nice ribbon of asphalt on Sunday afternoon. Maybe 11 south toward Gray. Jake - want to try out the new Tarmac on the old tarmac?

1-13-08 Firetower

I'm leaning toward the Firetower loop, which starts in Round Oak, for this Sunday's Dirt ride. I plan to start at 2pm. If you want to join me, make sure to give me a call. Otherwise I might be a little loose with my start time.

I'm playing it by ear depending on weather and fatigue level - it's been a tough week. Probably 1.5 to 2hrs from Adgateville, but call me if you want to ride and we can discuss it. 706-318-6786

12/30/07 - no dirt

No dirt ride is planned for Sunday, December 30th. It's my recovery week, so dirt gets axed. But the roads are still there if you want to ride.

Firetower 12-23-07

Jake and I didn't finish this course a few weeks ago due to my broken chain, but it's the best of the Sunday Dirt courses. This Sunday we'll give it another go. Be prepared to ride high L2 or low L3 good steady pace. Bring food and drink - there are no stops.

Where: Park at abandoned brick store on Hwy 11 in Round Oak.
When: 2pm Sunday, December 23rd.
What: Firetower Loop: 32.6 miles (about 2.3 hours)
